That being said, here's the long answer: You need a wedding planner so that you, your family and your friends can relax and enjoy the planning process/wedding with no worries. Could you do everything yourself? Sure. Have friends and family help you? Absolutely. But...and this is a big but...why put yourself/friends/family through the stress of it all if you don't have to? Especially when it comes to Day-Of. This is a pretty big day for you, right? The only thing that you need to be focused on is showing up, looking gorgeous, marrying the love of your life and having a great time.
Second reason: Vendors. When you plan a wedding, you're dealing with many vendors which, for most people, is not a lot of fun. A professional wedding planner can be a tremendous help when it comes to researching, choosing and negotiating with vendors. Also, as much as we hate to admit it, some vendors will treat you differently when you have a planner along with you. To be blunt, it comes down to dollars and cents. Your wedding is worth a certain fee for a vendor...say...$2000, for example. A wedding planner has the potential to refer several clients to that vendor, increasing your value tenfold. Now you're a $20,000 client and, yes, you will often see a difference in the way you are treated.
Q.OK You've convinced me to hire a planner! Why should I choose Rebel Belle Weddings®?
A. When hiring a planner, we recommend you look for someone whose personality and vibe matches your own - and that may or may not be us. You're going to be working very closely with this person and you want them to be able to "see" your vision easily. Meet with them in person first to see how you feel, and go with your gut instinct. Some planners like to exert a significant amount of control, advising couples of what they should and shouldn't do, can and can't have. We would never dream of such a thing. So if you're looking for a Master of Rules and Etiquette, you probably wouldn't want to hire us. However, if you'd prefer someone who can manage a million details, keep an eye on your budget, wrangle ornery vendors and won't flinch if you want to incorporate something like football into your wedding, we're your people.

A. Rebel Belle Weddings® hand-picks vendors based on quality, reliability, uniqueness of product and fairness of pricing. We do not, under any circumstances, partner with vendors for commission.
