Welcome to The Rebel Gallery, our showcase for weddings that are far from the norm!
We will forever have a special place in our hearts for Erika and Ben's uber-creative Theater Wedding! They originally met in high school, in front of the school theater on grad night. Six years later...
...they were married on stage in that very same theater in a play of their own writing, direction, choreography and production!
Act One: The Story of Erika and Ben - reinactments of key scenes from their life including the "Halloween Cane Dance," "Grad Night," and a dance montage to "I've Got You Under My Skin."
Oh...and let's not forget The Proposal!
Act Two: The Ceremony - just your average, everyday ceremony on stage in a theater...with a SWORDFIGHT!
And a bride with a gun...
In the end, the challenger was vanquished, the ceremony was held, "Mazel tov!" was shouted and the cast took their bows.
And...scene!

Meet Nicole and Tom, who combined their love for each other with their mutual love of literature in their "Book of Love" themed wedding!
The bride applied her unique talent for origami in a totally new way, creating both her bridal bouquet and table centerpieces out of decoratively folded books and pages!
And check out these amazingly creative, retro-cool library book escort cards!

Next up are Anne and Chris, who transcended time, space and Southern California traffic to arrive at their wedding reception in their very own Dr. Who TARDIS.
The bridal bouquet deserves a closer look here. Check out those fabulous feathers!

We had a blast in Pennsylvania working with Kristen and Brian, a very cool couple who used The Force to take their traditional wedding reception just a bit to the dark side.
The "Imperial March" played as the couple stormed the ballroom!
Kudos to the Penn State Days Inn catering staff! When they heard there would be Star Wars elements to this reception, they couldn't wait to get in on the action. Women volunteered to wear their hair Princess Leia-style...
...and you know you've chosen the right venue when one of the waiters brings his very own Darth Vader mask!
The power of the Dark Side was too strong...even the catering manager couldn't resist!
Guest tables were named for planets in Star Wars, with the head table being Coruscant....of course. Han and Leia graced the cake.

As seen on Offbeat Bride, our next offering is our own wedding - A Broadway Show themed event entited "Music, Love and Cupcakes, A Most Unusual Wedding."
